Guy Haberman currently serves as a play-by-play commentator for the Big Ten Network, FOX Sports, and NBC/Peacock, calling football and basketball games across these networks.
Haberman grew up in an Air Force family until ninth grade, when his family settled in Davis, California. His first broadcasting job came in 11th grade calling Davis High School Football for Davis Community TV. He attended Fresno State, where he began calling Fresno State sports and then the Fresno Grizzlies, the San Francisco Giants' Triple-A affiliate. It was also at Fresno State where he met his wife.
In late 2012, Haberman moved to San Francisco to join 95.7 The Game, where he hosted "The Guy Haberman Show" and later "The Haberman and Middlekauff Show," while also handling Oakland A's pre and postgame coverage, and then "The Haberman and Middlekauff Podcast."
His career includes significant roles with NBC Sports Bay Area & California, where he served as a studio host, including Sacramento Kings pre and postgame shows from 2014-2016. He has also called games on radio for the Oakland A's and Golden State Warriors.
From 2013 to 2024, Haberman was a key voice for the Pac-12 Networks as a play-by-play announcer and studio host. He also hosted a weekday morning show on SiriusXM's Pac-12 Radio channel from 2018-2024.
He also currently hosts the Guy Haberman Podcast and YouTube channel, which focuses on the San Francisco 49ers and NFL/CFB coverage.
He lives in the Bay Area.
